Online Lessons in Composition, Theory, Musical Skills
Online lessons are $40 (USD) an hour. First lesson for $20!
Requirements for online lessons are: A chat program (AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google, etc.) and a means of sending works-in-progress in score format (pdf, sibelius, finale, etc.) or as a recording (midi, mp3, etc.). Lesson plans will be tailored according to individual student, and lesson times can be flexible according to scheduling needs. The frequency of lessons can also be determined by the student as well. Ryan has experience doing music in classical (both traditional and contemporary), electronic, and a variety of improvised musical styles -- students of all genres are welcome.
Types of instruction offered, but not limited to:
General Musicianship Skills, Composition, Improvisation, Harmonic/Melodic Writing, Counterpoint, Orchestration and Instrumentation, Acoustics, Electronic Music Production and Composition, Aesthetics, 20th and 21st Century Theory, etc.

1) Ability to read and notate music? (Not necessarily a pre-requisite, especially in recording-oriented musics.)
2) A brief list of musical experiences -- instruments played, groups performed in, previous experiences writing music, etc.
