My attempt at a hybridizing the methods from electronic and classical music practices, using Sibelius as a tool for making electronic music. These recordings use only the Sibelius software and the default configurations that it comes with out-of-the-box. If interested, you can read the theory about it here.
Most of these works are actually playable by live performers, so if you’re interested in performing any of them, let me know.
Autonomous Fantasies — for General MIDI
This piece was written specifically for General MIDI, designed to be used with Stephen Malinowski’s Music Animation Machine. The MAM player can be downloaded from Stephen’s site, while the piece itself can be downloaded here and played at the listener’s discretion on their home computer. The rendition tends to work the best when set to the BALLS setting in my opinion, but the experience of it is largely subjective. The MAM player only works with PCs for now, sorry!
